Eiger’s Marcus Clinch meets with delegation of five Lords/MP

Marcus Clinch attended a private breakfast meeting with Lord Faulkner of Worcester and four other visiting members of the British All-Party Parliamentary Group on Taiwan. The Group is focused on promoting greater understanding and relations between Britain and Taiwan. The Group has recently supported Taiwan’s involvement in the World Health Organisation and the adoption by the British government of the visa waiver scheme for Taiwanese visitors to Britain. Other issues that have been raised by the Group in Parliament recently have included Taiwanese participation in the International Civil Aviation Organisation, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
